Principals
Mark R. Horowitz, Managing Director.
Mark is a senior business and marketing executive with 30 years experience in management, strategic planning and business development. He was a Senior Vice President/Group Executive at a worldwide marketing communications firm — part of the $8.6 billion Omnicom Group of global advertising and marketing companies. He is a former member and director of the Illinois District Export Council, appointed by the Secretary of Commerce. Mark created and directed a marketing communications program for the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business. He has been a president or board member of several foundations and non-profit organizations. An accomplished scholar, writer and lecturer, he has presented academic papers and authored books and numerous articles and radio commentary. He was a Guest Columnist for USA TODAY, a weekly syndicated columnist for United Press International and a weekly radio commentator for an NBC-affiliate in Chicago. He was sponsored for Pulitzer Prizes in News Commentary, and in Explanatory Journalism. Mark holds degrees from Tulane University, the University of Illinois and the University of Chicago.

Dave is the former Chairman and CEO of Kemper Risk Management Services, as well as Senior Vice President and Chief Trial Counsel for Kemper Insurance Companies. He was responsible for the entire $4 billion claims department operations at Kemper. He has more than 40 years experience in corporate management, law and entrepreneurial marketing. Dave is of counsel in the national law firm of Tressler, Soderstrom, Maloney & Priess, with primary responsibilities in business development and growth. He is Vice President of Marketing and an instructor at Professional Training Services (PTS). A graduate of St. Bonaventure and Suffolk University, he completed the Executive Management Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business, and the Harvard Law School Mediation Training Workshop. Affiliations include Board of Governors, National Insurance Crime Bureau; and former Vice Presidencies at the Defense Research Institute and the International Association of Defense Counsel.
